September Newsletter

How is it already September? It has gone by so fast this summer I can hardly stand it. In our salon world we are still working hard to make sure all of our back-to-school kiddos and teachers are looking fabulous. It has been fun to see all of the new styles this year and the smiles on everyone’s face when they get that back-to-school cut or color. Don’t forget a few haircare tips when school starts up. Remember kids do not share hats, having long hair, it’s a good idea to put it back or braid it, and if you want to wear it down peppermint shampoo and conditioner can help keep lice stay at bay. These are just a few suggestions when we go back to school and classrooms.

My next order of business is to let you all know Jasmine and her husband welcomed a beautiful baby girl. Mom and baby are getting used to their new routine, and are doing wonderful! Congratulations you three.

Our lovely Michelle is about to embark on her new mom journey as she is at the end of her pregnancy. She currently has no availability going forward, however if there is a cancellation, she does have a list that she keeps up to date in the software system. We will keep you posted when Baby Davidsavor has made her arrival.

We are still seeing a lot of no call, no shows and this has been and ongoing situation since covid. Most of the time it’s an honest mistake and we totally understand people’s circumstances and take into consideration if this was a first and only time that it may have happened. We recently added our consent form and cancellation policy to your text message reminders. We want to educate guests on that if we are not with a guest then we do not make a wage. This is why with all of the no show appointments it needed to be addressed. Like I have said in the past and in our policy that we do understand things come up, we just want everyone to be aware of our policies and how they work. Please reach out to me if you have any questions on this matter. Thank you all for understanding we greatly appreciate all of our guests.

** Lash guests **going forward any full lash set we will be taking a deposit of $60.00 dollars to reserve this spot; Marissa is a super busy lady and when she has a cancellation or a no show, she has no option to fill it with another full set as they take up a majority or her time. This is also a huge pay cut for her when a full set does not come in. This is to make sure that the appointment is kept or a call is made 24hrs in advance to let Marissa fill those huge gaps.

All other long and extensive color procedures or major color corrections will also pay a deposit prior to the service to guarantee the appointment. All deposits will be added to your service the day of receiving it.

Just a friendly reminder that I will be out of the salon in October and will return back on the 25th of October, if you have any major questions, please email Patty at she will be happy to assist anyone that needs anything.

My staff have been really working hard and we are already gearing up for the holiday season yes, I said it Holiday season. I recently ordered holiday kits and stocking stuffers and they will be for sale in October sometime when they arrive. If you haven’t noticed Redken has redone their packaging again and this time they have discontinued some other products and really worked on minimizing their products. You will also find some new products and bigger sizes which is always a good thing.

Our liter sale is still on and if you haven’t gotten in to get this deal do it quick the sale ends September 30th. We also have our gift card sale going on so make sure to take advantage of this is as well. If you have purchased a gift card online, please make me aware so you can receive the bucks back as well. Email me at

I recently have been looking for a new guest service sales expert as we need a few more bodies to help out with the guest sales and experience, if you or someone you know is interested, we will be conducting walk in interviews on September 14th and 15th from 10-12 each day. All you have to do is walk in and Patty or myself will be ready to interview on the spot. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at my email address provided.

Well, I think that is all I have to cover this month I hope you all have a wonderful back to school week. Happy pumpkin spiced lattes and sweater season. Cheers!!
